The difference between the Hydrosphere and the water cycle is that the water cycle is a part of the Hydrosphere and the Hydrosphere is the area in which the water cycle occurs. P.E
- The water cycle is a process within the hydrosphere, it defines the cycling of water within the earth, whereas the hydrosphere is a "sphere" defined by the location of water within the earth, not an actual cycle. B.H
